Town Moor Memorial 10K - Posted 14-11-2010 Amazingly the wind stopped for Sunday morning, the rain dried-up and the conditions for this race were near perfect. 9 Crook Runners turned out for 1 minute of silence and around 40 minutes of running. Well done to all PB'ers!

The following article was posted on: 15th February 2010 North East Harrier League Race 4 What a tremendous effort from all our members who made it to Wrekenton, what a brilliant turnout and some very impressive performances, and yes that includes the Post run food-munching performances too! An extra special mention to Elizabeth Oates for managing to ‘float’ around the thick muddy course without getting even slightly mucky, oh yes and achieving a massive 2nd place overall These weren’t the only heroics from the day as you can see by the results and positions below. Congrats also to the Lonsdales who also had a couple of great performances and I was very proud to Cheer them on. Crook Men achieved an amazing 3nd overall on the day which means we are still 2nd position, unfortunately we’re now joint 2nd place with North Shields Poly in Division 2.... Male Runners in finish order as follows: Name, time and position. Female Runners in finish order as follows: Name, time and position.

The following article was posted on: 8th February 2010 North East Harrier League Race 3 Crook AC had a strong turnout for the first of the New Year Harrier league Cross Country events at Newcastle Town Moor. Two flat laps were followed by one long lap with a big hill to climb. Not so bad under normal conditions but considering there were a few inches of snow underfoot it may have been a good idea to equip with crampons. Male Runners in finish order as follows: Name, time and position.
Female Runners in finish order as follows: Name, time and position. Elizabeth Oates ran 39.40 with a 86th position overall.
